Ji Defa, the founder of STEP, attaches great importance to the construction of enterprise talents and serves as the first chairman of STEP University. STEP aims to become an international famous brand in the field of intelligent manufacturing and a world-class enterprise. Ji Defa said that the establishment of STEP University is a long-cherished wish of STEP people. Since it was awarded the National Enterprise Technology Center in 2015, STEP has promoted the construction of Academia Sinica and national laboratory, creating the necessary conditions for enterprise scientific and technological progress. Now, STEP is established to cultivate leading talents in intelligent manufacturing, digital technology, manufacturing technology and other professional fields, and continue to increase scientific and technological research and development on a large scale and in a long period. At the same time, STEP will also provide business management professionals to enhance corporate leadership. STEP University will cooperate with well-known universities to establish STEP academic alliance, and comprehensively build STEP talent system from the aspects of talent selection, talent application, talent cultivation and talent retention.
