Adtech robot invention patent won the China Patent Excellence Award
Recently, the China National Intellectual Property Office have launched the 22nd China Patent Award "Online" awarding activity on the official website. Adtech (ADTECH (SHENZHEN) TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.), as a subsidiary of STEP Electric Corporation, have won the China Patent Excellence Award, by the invention patent of "a method of automatic calculation of the actual arm length of the robot", once again demonstrated the leading edge of Step Electric Corporation in the field of robotics.
The patent is named “a method for automatically calculating the actual arm length of a robot that controls the accuracy by zero point calibration and arm length calibration". It was granted in April 2019. It provides a simple and flexible method, and is greatly improved the control efficiency. At present, the patented technology has been successfully used in the STEP’s robot. This has improved the product’s performance and user’s experience.
In recent years, the STEP Group has focused on its core business, engaged in specialized industry，thoroughly practise the strategy of " parallel and surpass to the abroad brands ". For that, we continued to increase investment in independent innovation. In this means, the quantity and quality of enterprise patents have increased rapidly and steadily. As of June 30, 2021, STEP has the ownership of the total pieces of 687 authorized patents, including 223 invention patents, 252 software copyrights, 30 national technical standard items and 8 industry technical standard items.
The China Patent Award selection activity is jointly carried out by the State Intellectual Property Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization, which has been held for 22 sessions so far. And it has selected more than 7,000 patent projects with high innovation quality, good application efficiency and strong demonstration effect, which has strongly supported the high-quality development of China's economy and society. This year's China Patent Award covers many fields such as advancing equipment manufacturing, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, energy conservation and environmental protection, new materials, etc., which epitomizes the outstanding results achieved by China in promoting key core technology research.
